Raises the state minimum starting salary for teachers in West Virginia to $50,000 beginning in school year 2026-2027.

Amends §18A-4-2 of the West Virginia Code to replace the existing state minimum salary schedule for teachers with a new schedule reflecting the increased base pay.

Maintains the tiered salary structure based on years of experience (0-35 years) and education level (from 4th Class through Doctorate).

Teachers may also receive county supplements in addition to the state minimum salary as authorized under existing law.
