Non-uniformed administrative staff of the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation will receive a $6,000 pay equity salary adjustment over three years ($2,000 annually starting July 1, 2026, 2027, and 2028)

Funding comes from general revenue appropriations to the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation, except for employees at regional jails who will be paid from a special revenue fund

The salary increase applies even if it causes an employee's pay to exceed the maximum allowable for their pay grade

The legislation creates no private cause of action and overrides conflicting rules, policies, or code provisions
