Mandates insurance coverage for intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) therapy to treat pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections (PANDAS), pediatric acute onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS), and other autoimmune encephalopathies

Applies to plans issued or renewed after January 1, 2027, covering West Virginia Public Employees Insurance (PEIA), Medicaid, and private health insurance including accident/sickness, group, hospital/medical service corporations, health care corporations, and HMOs

Requires prior authorization from the insured's physician before coverage is approved

Physician must demonstrate that all other treatments have been exhausted before IVIG therapy will be covered

Adds seven new sections across multiple chapters of West Virginia Code to ensure uniform coverage requirements across all regulated insurance types
