Hotels and public lodging establishments may provide annual human trafficking awareness training to housekeeping staff and front desk employees who interact with guests

Establishments may implement reporting procedures for suspected human trafficking to the National Human Trafficking Hotline or local law enforcement by January 1, 2027

Establishments may post bilingual (English and Spanish) human trafficking awareness signs at least 11x15 inches in employee-accessible locations by January 1, 2027

Required training content includes defining human trafficking types (sex and labor), identifying potential victims in lodging settings, and employee reporting responsibilities

The bill explicitly does not create a private cause of action and authorizes the Bureau for Public Health to promulgate rules for implementation
