Insurance policies must include comprehensive coverage, personal injury, malpractice, corporal punishment, legal liability coverage, and attorney's fees for claims arising from alleged negligence

Coverage applies to teachers, supervisory and administrative staff, service personnel, county superintendents, and school board members when acting within the scope of their duties

County boards must provide annual written notice to all insureds identifying coverages, monetary limits, and contact information for the insurance provider
