Notes that West Virginia had 779 organ, tissue, and cornea donors in 2025, with the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) marking its seventh consecutive record-breaking year

Highlights that over 100,000 Americans, including 500 West Virginians, currently await life-saving organ transplants, with 17 people dying daily due to organ shortages

Encourages West Virginia residents to register as donors at donatelifewv.org, DMV offices, or through hunting and fishing license applications
