Designates February 13, 2026, as West Virginia Silver Jackets Flood Resiliency Day at the Capitol and recognizes February 9-13, 2026, as West Virginia Silver Jackets Flood Resiliency Week

Over the past 10 years, West Virginia has experienced more than 1,680 flooding events, causing an estimated $54 million in property damage and 34 deaths from flash and riverine flooding

Flash flooding is recognized as West Virginia's greatest natural hazard, and the resolution encourages residents to prepare homes, families, businesses, and communities for flood events

Multiple agencies collaborate on flood resiliency efforts, including the Army Corps of Engineers, West Virginia State Resiliency Office, National Weather Service, and West Virginia Emergency Management Division

Directs the Clerk to forward a copy of the resolution to the West Virginia State Resiliency Office
