Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources may require nonmotorized recreational trail permits for bicycle use on designated trails within state parks, historic sites, and recreation areas

Annual permit fees capped at $10 for Wyoming residents and $20 for nonresidents; daily permits capped at $5 regardless of residency

Persons under 18 years of age are exempt from the permit requirement

Creates a nonmotorized recreational trails account with continuous appropriation for trail maintenance, construction, signage, enforcement, educational programs, and infrastructure including trailheads, parking, and restrooms

Permit provisions take effect July 1, 2026
