Allows qualified electors to recall any municipal elected officer through a petition signed by at least 40% of registered voters who were entitled to vote for that officer in their most recent election

Requires petitions to contain grounds for removal, include signers' addresses, be verified under oath, and pertain to only one elected official; prohibits paid signature collection

City clerk must verify petition signatures within 10 days; if sufficient, the governing body schedules a recall election between 30 and 40 days from certification

Recall petitions cannot be filed until an officer has served at least 9 months of their term and no less than 6 months before the next election; only one recall election permitted per officer per term

If a majority votes for removal, the officer is removed and the vacancy is filled under existing Wyoming law; effective July 1, 2026
