Expands the definition of "law enforcement officer" for retirement purposes to include full-time correctional forestry crew supervisors, correctional crew supervisors, and correctional forestry crew managers employed by the Wyoming State Forestry Division or other state agencies

Expands the definition of "firefighter member" to include full-time and temporary full-time wildland firefighting employees of any state agency

Appropriates $411,000 from the general fund to the Office of State Lands and Investments for retirement contributions, covering July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028

Affected employees may elect to remain as general members under the Wyoming Retirement Act by notifying the Wyoming Retirement Board by April 30, 2026; elections are irrevocable

Coverage under the new retirement classifications begins July 1, 2026, with prior service credit from other retirement plans not transferable to firefighter or law enforcement member status
