Authorizes 24 employee positions for the state forestry division: 4 full-time regional fire managers and suppression module leaders, 4 nine-month temporary positions, and 16 six-month temporary positions

Appropriates $5,144,000 from the general fund to establish two wildland fire suppression modules for wildfire suppression and hazardous fuels reduction projects

Funds cover hiring, training, certifying, supervising specialized teams, plus support costs and equipment

Appropriation runs from April 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028, with unexpended funds reverting to the state

Legislature intends positions to become part of standard budget in future biennium, except for $1,000,000 in one-time costs
