Wyoming will recognize out-of-state restoration of firearm rights for persons convicted of felonies in other jurisdictions, allowing them to legally use and possess firearms in Wyoming

Persons convicted of violent felonies who possess firearms without rights restoration face up to 3 years imprisonment and/or fines up to $5,000

Persons convicted of non-violent felonies who possess firearms without rights restoration face up to 6 months imprisonment and/or fines up to $750

Out-of-state rights restoration applies only to firearm rights; voting rights, jury service eligibility, and ability to hold public office are not automatically restored unless the convicting jurisdiction specifically restores those rights

Effective immediately upon enactment
