Eliminates the requirement that conservation district supervisors include 3 rural residents, 1 urban resident, and 1 at-large member, replacing it with all 5 supervisors elected at large by nonpartisan ballot

Requires at least 2 of the 5 supervisors to reside in a rural area and be directly participating in production agriculture

Candidates must designate whether they are running for a production agriculture position or a general position

Defines "production agriculture" as any owner, operator, or tenant of a farm or ranch producing food, fiber, crops, or livestock for commercial purposes, including animal husbandry

Effective July 1, 2026, applying to supervisors whose terms commence on or after that date
