DC fast charging station operators in Wyoming must display a 3"x3" label identifying the primary energy source (coal, natural gas, wind, solar, hydroelectric, nuclear, petroleum, biomass/biogas, or geothermal) used to supply electricity to the station

Public utilities must calculate and disclose to station operators the largest energy resource category based on the utility's energy mix in that service territory

Labels must show two energy sources if the largest category accounts for less than 50% of electricity supplied during the prior calendar year

Station operators must update labels annually by March 31 based on the previous calendar year's energy mix

Violations constitute a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $750; the act takes effect July 1, 2026
