Prohibits homeowners associations from banning indoor or outdoor display of political campaign signs, including signs for candidates or ballot propositions

HOAs may still require outdoor signs be ground-mounted or fence-attached, limit owners to one sign per candidate/proposition, and restrict sign size to 4 feet by 6 feet maximum

HOAs may prohibit signs before a candidate files for office and require removal within 30 days after the general election

HOAs may ban signs attached to plants, traffic devices, streetlights, or vehicles, as well as signs with obscene content, sounds, streamers, inflatables, or that threaten public safety

Applies only to HOAs newly created or whose bylaws are created/amended regarding political signage on or after July 1, 2026
