Mandatory driver's license suspension of 30 days to 1 year for refusing a chemical test pursuant to a search warrant

Refusal to submit to a chemical test may be used as evidence against the defendant in DUI criminal proceedings

Offenders must complete a substance use disorder assessment by a certified provider before sentencing and complete any recommended treatment, with costs paid by the offender

Applies to all drivers including those under 21 and commercial motor vehicle operators; effective July 1, 2026
