Ground ambulance emergency medical services under Wyoming Medicaid will be reimbursed at 100% of the Medicare rate from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028, capped at 100% of usual and customary charges

Department of Health must develop enhanced Medicaid fee schedules specifically for rural and super-rural ground ambulance providers

Total appropriation of $2.6 million: $1.3 million from the general fund and $1.3 million from federal funds for the two-year period

Department of Health must report to legislative committees by October 31, 2027 on additional costs incurred and provide recommendations for future reimbursement rate modifications

Effective date is July 1, 2026
