County clerks must post public notice at least 2 days before voting machine tests (or 24 hours before re-tests) in their office and on their website, and notify political party chairmen and independent candidates

Voting machine testing must be open to the public, with county clerks required to admit at least 3 members of the public while maintaining orderly testing conditions

Every voting machine used in an election, including all electronic ballot marking devices, must be individually tested; inspection must begin at least 2 weeks before the election

The presumption that certified voting machines are properly prepared is removed; challenges may now be filed within 5 days (increased from 2 days) after the machine is sealed

Test results must be posted to the county clerk's website and a copy of the certification must be filed with the Secretary of State; the Secretary may promulgate rules governing testing procedures
