Authorizes certain existing assisted living programs to expand capacity by nine or fewer beds under an expedited process.
Relates to the use of automated lending decision-making tools by banks for the purposes of making lending decisions; allows loan applicants to consent to or opt out of such use.
Directs the department of environmental conservation to promulgate air quality standards for emissions of certain toxic air contaminants.
Directs the department of public service to promulgate rules and regulations to establish fee transparency standards for electric vehicle charging stations.
Provides that court records in a proceeding under articles 77, 78 and 81 of the mental hygiene law shall not be perused, examined, disclosed, taken or copied by any other person than a party, the attorney or counsel of a party, the guardian, the court evaluator or the court examiner except by order of the court.
Relates to requiring employers to obtain an acknowledgement of receipt from employees of their sexual harassment prevention policy and sexual harassment prevention training program in writing in English and in employees' primary languages; requires employers to obtain acknowledgements from employees and keep such acknowledgements for six years.
Relates to the use of validated risk assessment instruments for sex offenders to determine the risk of a repeat offense.
Provides for permitted leaves of absence for members of the civil air patrol during emergencies for purposes of assisting with such emergencies.
Establishes extended producer responsibility for textiles; requires a producer, either individually or cooperatively in a group or with a representative organization to submit to the department of environmental conservation a plan for the establishment of a collection program for textile covered products.
Requires certain health insurance policies to provide coverage for diabetes and prediabetes screening.
Grants uniformed court officers in the village of Sag Harbor in Suffolk county peace officer status.
Requires hyperscale data centers to offset their electricity demand by funding household electrification measures.
Prohibits termination of electricity or heat service during forecasts of 85 degrees or more than or thirty-two degrees or below.
Prohibits the idling of any passenger vehicle, with certain exceptions, for more than 3 consecutive minutes; establishes the first violation is a warning and subsequent violations of such section are traffic infractions punishable by a fine of $150.
Provides additional protections for sensitive health information; requires all health information networks, electronic health record systems, and health care providers to provide patients with a right to restrict the disclosures of such patient's health information; defines terms; provides for exceptions.
Allows for Medicaid accountable care organizations to purchase experience-rated health insurance for their members.
